Summary

The Quantum Economy Project advances Saudi Arabia’s readiness for the quantum era by piloting and localizing, for the first time globally, the World Economic Forum’s Quantum Economy Blueprint. It convenes government, industry, and academia to assess the Kingdom’s quantum landscape, foster structured knowledge exchange, and align investments with priority missions in key sectors. Building on targeted workshops, landscape studies, and open innovation challenges, the project explores high‑impact applications while catalyzing new research, talent development, and ecosystem-building efforts. In doing so, it supports economic diversification and positions Saudi Arabia as an emerging quantum hub, ensuring that the benefits of quantum technologies are developed and deployed responsibly in line with Vision 2030.
